12 Days Budget/Luxury Tanzania Safari Northern Circuit Overview
Destinations: Arusha National Park, Tarangire National Park, Lake Natron NP, Serengeti National Park, Ngorongoro Crater, Lake Eyas and Lake Manyara NP.
This classic 12 days tour, will take you to all National Parks and Conservation areas located on the northern part of Tanzania. You have a room to opt between budgets/ comfort or luxury tour package, where accommodation ranges from tents camping, tented campsite lodge and luxury lodges/hotels located within and outside the park.
Price of this tour depends heavily on the accommodation nature; tents camping rated as budget safari while tented camps lodges and hotels rated as comfort and luxury safaris.

Upon your arrival you will be welcomed by our office representatives at Kilimanjaro International Airport or/and any nearby airport that you will land on, followed by a private drive to the hotel in Moshi town. After having a short rest at the hotel, our safari guide will meet you to give brief information about next day’s safari and other important information.
Morning drive from your hotel to Arusha National Park, entering the park around 9:30am. After some registration and payment process at the gate, game drive starts up to afternoon hours when you will be having a short break for lunch at picnic site. Game drive will continue up to late afternoon when you will be exiting the pack back to the hotel in Arusha city.
WHAT TO SEE
-Arusha National Park is the home to Mount Meru, the second highest mountain in Tanzania. A close and clear view of the mountain adds some within the park.
-Monkey and Baboons, Black and white Colobus Monkey, Elephants, Zebra, Giraffe, Impalas, Water buck, Bush back, Gazelle, Momela lakes and different species of birds.
After breakfast in your hotel, our safari driver-guide will be waiting you outside ready to start a tour. After 2 hours of private drive you will enter Tarangire NP, where the registration and payment process will take place. After all that the game drive will start up to mid-afternoon where you will have a short rest for lunch before continuing with game drive until earlier evening when you will be exiting the park, driving to the hotel at Mto wa Mbu for rest, dinner and overnight.
Accommodation nature: Lodge/camping sites.
Activities at Lake Natron: Bird watching at the Lake hundreds of thousands of greater and lesser Flamingos, Hiking mount Ol Doinyo Lengai (Active volcanic mountain) waterfalls and visiting the nomadic Maasai society.
Accommodation: Tents camping.
When you are there you will enjoy seeing endless plains of Serengeti, group of elephants, zebra, gazelles, Impala, warthogs, wildebeest migrations, Giraffes, Birds such as Secretary bird ,Ostrich, Cranes and many other birds.
Later evening you will drive to the camping site/Lodge for rest, dinner and Overnight.
You will start Game Drive early in the morning for you able to spot Leopards that are very rare to be seen during the afternoon times and also difficult to be seen on the other National Parks. Game Drive will continue up to afternoon where you will have a short rest for lunch before continuing with Game Drive up to late evening where you will be driven back to your lodge/camping site for rest, dinner and overnight.
During great migration, June-July you may spot a large number of wildebeest and zebra crossing Mara river while attacked heavily by crocodiles to Maasai Mara NP in Kenya
Half day game drives Serengeti, game enroute to Ngorongoro
In the morning after breakfast you will drive from the lodge to Ngorongoro Crater. You will start game drives at rim of the Crater before down-sloping to the Crater where you will discover the wonderful nature of creation. In the crater you will see different species of birds, hippo pools, and herds of wildebeest, Zebra, Buffalo, Lions and black Rhino on its natural habitat and lucky you can see a Leopard and Cheetah. Afternoon times you will have a rest for lunch at picnic site near the large hippo pool, later on continuing with game drive until late afternoon where you will be exiting the park heading to Karatu town for rest, dinner and overnights.
Accommodation nature: Lodge/tents camping
After breakfast you will have a long drive to Lake Eyasi where you will enjoy seeing the Bush Men (Hadzabe and Datoga) societies that you can learn more about their cultural practices and local hunting, spending half day touring with the local people and clear view of Lake Eyas. During evening hours, you will drive back, now heading to Karatu town for rest, dinner and overnight.
The final day will be spent within Lake Manyara NP, start game drives until afternoon hours when you will have a break for lunch at picnic site. During game drive you will enjoy viewing Lake Manyara covered by pelicans and flamingo, the Great Eastern Rift Valley Wall, hot Spring and many more wild animals. During evening times you will be exiting the park, back to your lodge at Arusha city.
